The Cast Copper collection draws inspiration from copper water features — the kind where sheets of water run down cast copper surfaces, creating rich, weathered patina over time. That aged, oxidized look is what I aim to capture on canvas. Whether the subject is flowers, trees, hearts, or something else entirely, the goal is the same: create something that doesn’t look like it was done on canvas at all. I’ve applied this technique to pieces ranging from 16×20 inches to massive four-panel installations spanning 4×8 feet.
