Description
Not every Fighting Irish fan wants blue and gold on their wall. “For Her” reimagines the Notre Dame shamrock in hot pink and magenta, with gold veining running through heavily textured leaves and the iconic ND monogram holding the center.
The background is deep green — the color of the field, the color of the tradition — but the shamrock itself breaks from expectation. The magenta is bold without being garish, layered with enough gold to keep it grounded in Notre Dame’s palette. The texture radiates outward from the center, built up thick enough to catch light and cast shadow depending on the angle.
This piece is also part of the Off Kilter series, painted from the first brushstroke on a rotated axis. The tilt is subtle but intentional — it gives the shamrock movement and energy, keeps it from sitting too still on the wall.
