The Wave Over Me collection doesn’t just depict the Lake Michigan shoreline — it contains it. Each painting incorporates real beach sand collected from New Buffalo Public Beach, Warren Dunes, and other Southwest Michigan shores. The sand is worked into the surface, creating texture you can see and feel. Many pieces are finished in driftwood or rustic frames that complement the coastal subject matter.
